THE NEW SKILLS NETWORK focuses on different actions within the Lifelong Learning Programme (centralised and decentralised projects).

THE NEW SKILLS NETWORK Project is funded by the European Commission, DG Education and Culture.

Next seminar: "A Journey of Skills": Skills Acquisition through a Transnational Placement

The seminar will be organised on 8th November 2010 in Antwerp, Belgium and it will tackle the issue of skills acquiring and recognising for learners in the framework of Leonardo da Vinci and Erasmus transnational placements.

Peer Learning Seminar in Reykjavik

Activites in 2010 - a Peer Learning Seminar in Iceland and a Mobility & Skills seminar in Belgium

The NSN Network will start its activities by holding a  seminar titled “Facilitating cooperation between different stakeholders on the New Skills for New Jobs Agenda”  in Reykjavik, Iceland on 31 May to 1 June 2010. The main objective of the Peer Learning seminar is to analyse New Skills for New Jobs Agenda as well as new recommendations for actions.

THE NEW SKILLS NETWORK is a thematic project coordinated by the Icelandic National Agency for EU´s Lifelong Learning Programme. The NA has since the Leonardo da Vinci I programme been very active participant in multilateral dissemination and exploitation activities since. Under the new Lifelong Learning Programme, the LLP NA in Iceland has continued to play an active role. The New Skills Network, is a three year cooperative effort of 15 European LLP NAs across Europe.
